Artist Sridhar V Ramasami is well known for his forceful, mystic paintings that push the boundaries of color. The confluence of three powerful cultures are evident in his paintings - Indian (birth), US (work and citizenship) and China (present residence).

The painting philosophy includes:

Beauty in simplicity
Non-realism
Color as a symbol for life
Story telling

The paintings depict a story. The story is told in a holistic and mystic style. It is intended to be a springboard for the viewers imagination. Considerable ambiguity is hence, incorporated to allow for viewer interpretation.

The paintings are currently available for sale in the cities of Austin (USA), Guadelajara (Mexico) and from this web site.

The Comics section contains an illustrated adventure titled Adventures of VJ - The Jasmine Jewel and a comic strip titled Foreign teacher - Mr. Wye. The Adventures of VJ depicts one of the earlier chapters where he leaves home.

The ECT Hike section contains information about my hike of the Eastern Continental Trail. The section contains trail information, journals, hike details and tips for hikers.

The China section contains photos and journals of his current experience in China. It also contains materials for his students.
